I was sitting at work, being unproductive and what-not, when I thought, "Hey, lets draw the Naruto ladies as mermaids!
" So I diiiid. Well, it's just Hinata right now but the rest are coming. And then I thought, "Duuuude. Not just the ladies. Fuckin' Akatsuki. Omfgyes."
;_; I kinda wish I started with the Akatsuki.
But oh well. There's Hinata.
Staring at Naruto's fish!ass.
(Also you know what this little project of mine means? I get to draw a shit-ton of mermaids. And that makes me happy inside.

Very cute and shy ^^ Hinata is my boyfriend's favorite Naruto character, which was funny to find out since Naruto himself is mine XD I really like the round template you used, I hope they'll all be round images and match! Good work on the skin; the green/blue hints add to the underwater feeling.

Well, I was updating my old art, moving stuff to scraps, uploading higher-quality files, you know, just sprucing up my gallery, when I came across this old painting: [link] I was never quite satisfied with it but it was the best I could do back then. I was also reminded of how I named the painting after my cat because she died on the same day I finished the piece. For some reason, it really nagged at me and a few minutes later I was digging through my large paper supplies and sketching out a new version. I uploaded a pic of the initial sketch to my art Twitter: [link] So my project is to finish an updated version of that old painting ^^

I didn't think of that, but I suppose I will ^^ I usually just link to the old one in the descrip of the new one but it'll be even better to also link to a side-by-side.
I was pretty broken up about it. I will never forget because I left her at home, went to a friend's to watch a movie, and when I got home a couple hours later, my dad told me she had gotten outside and was found dead under the neighbor's car
