Three. Damn. Days. I should have spent more time on this, I really should have. I will most likely end up reuploading this, considering the contest deadline is not until April. Anywho.This is my entry for 's coloring contest. I am highly proud of the shading, my metal work (though I have yet to perfect it... at all) and the final background, though simple and somewhat sloppy. Resizing it killed a bit of detail, so I left it at about 70% of the original size. This was an INCREDIBLY large line art, and required a tid bit of clean up, but an overall worthwhile project. I think I will enter it in the pro division. Even if I do not win, it will have been worth the effort to finally have a damn deviation up for 2005. Thank you RO buddies, Haru, and Kwlei for helping me make choices and reassuring me that I do not, in fact, suck.
I am going to welcome critiques on this, put please, only constructive criticism. I do not need mean flames at this point in my life, and I will gladly return kindness with gratitude and reciprocated kindness. Thank you very much.

This is an excellent color job. I need you to do some of mine. I can't color worth crap. Really you did an amazing job the shading is detailed to the wire. Great job.

I personally think the grafitti in the background is a great idea! And no one else has done it yet. If you would like my artistic advice, I would suggest touching up that brick wall just a bit so that it looks more cartoony and consistent with the subjects. Good luck!
