[link]The motion sickness past, I’ll be the first to stand.
Behind that weathered door, I thought it would be safest.
My head is dizzy now, I thought we’d overcome.
i've heard my art consists of depth-less, scratchy, unfinished sketches that show my lack of commitment and heart.
but if this doesn't prove that idea wrong, along with every drawing i ever make, from scrap to original concept art to completely colored fanart, i don't know what will...
i pour my heart into my drawings, no matter what the subject is. and i happen to find inspiration in good story-telling.

You're my favorite Deviantartist, and you didn't become my favorite because of "depth-less, scratchy, unfinished sketches that show your lack of commitment and heart." You obviously pour yourself into whatever you work on, every line you draw shows your depth and emotion, "scratchy" lines or not.

I can't believe that any one would have the audacity to say that your sketches show lack of heart or commitment. I see more soul and love in all your drawings, sketches included, than most of the material that shows up on the front page of DA.
I have a sketch of yours pinned on my wall (I hope you don't mind that I printed it out) and it makes me smile every time I look at it, because you've captured Ron and Hermione so much better than any other artist I have seen.
You draw because you love it, and you love the characters that you draw, not because you want the page views or favourites. That in itself is worth more than any amount of finished drawings.

Right so I'm just going to ignore all who troll, and say that that the emotion in this picture is so lovely and painful and lovely, and I'm wondering if this is like at some point where Percy still doesn't remember all the way, and Annabeth is trying to restrain herself from breaking, she really is, but it's so hard because she feel's like he's so close to remembering everything about them and himself, but he's not quite there, and more than anything it's so weird for both of them because Percy is falling in love with her again, but Annabeth is already in love with him.

They seem to think they can go around criticizing others work, saying the emotion, skill, and "shining tears" dont matter, and that "ts all about skill and technique" ... and let me just say, holy turtle freakin monkeys, that it doesnt matter HOW much technique you use, if you have no emotion in your art its nothing but a photograph, capturing frozen smiles and silly poses, meaningless to everybody but the photographer. have fun bringing people down, keep hoping it will life you up. This is my fifth time coming back to this drawing today, and I know I'll be back tomorrow just to stare at it again today. Your drawings are so amazing, and hold so much emotion in them - whether it's happy, sad, confused, anything- and I can tell that you pour your heart and time into each and every piece that you do. Just looking at this, I feel filled with angst. I also feel like I need to hold onto something I love and never even try to let go.
Burdge-bug, you seem like an amazing person and if . From what I've seen from your YouTube videos , your taste in music, to your drawings, you are just...wonderful. The words I used can't even truly describe you. I think everything I've said in here to describe you is an understatement. I hope you continue to post more of your artwork up cause A BUNCH of people like it. So far this has 3,551 favorites, and we all know that you're going to get a lot more than that.

If people think that you lack commitment and heart then they need to get their facts straight.
If you didn't care then you wouldn't post your work. If you didn't have a passion for art and drawing then you wouldn't share your wonderful pieces with us. Art is art, and whether your work is sketchy, colored, digital, whatever! It's still art, and it's still wonderful!
