Had an idea for a new OC a while back, so I decided to draw her. Her name is September, or Sep for short. I tried revisiting older idea I've had like color palletes and such.what even is backgrounds

Backgrounds are the stuff behind your character which gives the illusion of depth of environment, kinda like what you have here...
OK, in all cereals, this is a pretty good pic. Let's start with that background since you seem to be not so sure about it, I mean, it looks to be tilted the right way in conjuncture with Sep, there's enough back there to keep it from being visually dull(the papers and keys), I won't complain about the colors because typical office colors, and the shadow from the top cabinet looks to be about right. But now that that's out of the way, what about Sep herself? Like with the last girl, you combined sexy with another aspect(in this case mature) to make a gorgeous looking character, and managed to avoid making her look like sweater girl(I don't know her real name, couldn't find it). I think what helps that the eyes are more narrow that sweater's giving her a more mature look(I guess it helps that she has glasses even if they do look a bit fake. Are there even lens in those?). Aside from that, I like the color scheme of blue and black, I also like how this is a thing in both the clothes and the face(the blue eyes and black hair). I also really love the detail on the shirt, the wrinkles and what's underneath, though I'm sure that's just a bra, otherwise this woman has two right nipples(and if it is a bra, then that's really good attention to detail). I also like the leg up, don't really know why I just do.
In short, I really like this pic, it's well done and pretty, great job

I've thought about doing a VN actually. I guess that's kinda my goals for now. Maybe I'll get around to writing one eventually.

There's a lot of existing engines out that that make it pretty easy. Ren'py is probably the most popular one and there's a lot of pretty well knownΒ games that use the engine
