Same. I wish the dA App could shut the fuck up with those ads which they just started doing. I opted out from Interest-Based ads since I don't want to be stalked but the ads are even getting on my nerves since they're putting ads from the Same company (Amazon)

I HATE ADS. Seriously, they're so annoying, especially YouTube ads. Dang it YouTube, I don't care for your stupid ads just let me watch the video already.Β

I have PM, so I don't see much in dA.
And then when I play games on my Android tablet, ads regarding stupid games come up. To prevent it, I turn off my wi-fi whenever I start playing.
Aaaand I don't have adblock on my computer. Really sucks when ads pop up in music videos.

I remember the time I installed this trashy program called Mackeeper back when I first got my mac. Mackeeper junked up my system by flooding the safari with so many annoying pop up ads. It also changed my search engine from Google to SearchQuick, I tried to get rid of it but every time I did, the obnoxious thing would come back. It also kept redirecting me to unknown websites but then I found and downloaded AdawareMedic which removed Mackeeper and SearchQuick from my system. Now all is well! My friend also had the same problem with her mac so I helped her to get rid of Mackeeper.

yeah MacKeeper is designed to slow down macs and its adware for macs. I had to repair a couple of macs before that had mackeeper on it

I am so glad that I got rid of Mackeeper. There are also other trash programs like MacBooster and TuneupMyMac that I watch out for.

The only good thing is that Viruses don't support Ubuntu yet, because some people switched from Mac & PCs to Ubuntu because of viruses.

Yeah, that is a good thing ^^
and the only reason I installed ubuntu on Netbook(my little laptop) was because:
1. It was the only computer I had back then(now, I have a new computer with windows 10)
2. I wanted to try out another operating system since windows was the only OS I could try back then
3. If something happens to windows, I could use ubuntu until I find a solution to fix Windows
My netbook has windows 7 starter and ubuntu installed(it had windows 7 but I installed ubuntu with it)
