Description
On this Sunday I decided to go for a new sketching round and tried to draw Acrocanthosaurus in different angles like I usually do with my Allosaurus. The reference for the skull can be found there:Β paleoguy.deviantart.com/art/Acβ¦I attempted to give the Acrocanthosaurus couple a slight hint of a pattern, which can be filled with colors, I don't have in my mind at the moment.

Thank you much, even if this is just a sketch, where I didn't get the legs and feet right.

Oh, thanks
I tried a similar level of detail, which is shown in this Rajasaurus sketches , which impressed me hugely.

Thank you much.
I spent almost the whole Sunday on drawing the Acrocanthosaurs after the Saturday, which was filled with work in the garden, rendering the Allosaurus animation and "repairing" the Ceratosaurus' texture.

It was fairly stylized though, almost like something you'd see in a Pixar animation. Was kinda cute regardless, and it's one of the few 'less common' dinosaurs I can easily remember despite its long name ^^

any dinosaur name with saurus surname or raptor surname is easier to remember than the dinosaur with no raptor or saurus surname like saurophaganax or australovenatorΒ
but really, dinosaur name that really stole my attention is alectrosaurus lol the name is kinda funny for a dinosaur xD

The meaning of Alectrosaurus' name implies, that even dinosaurs were singles, lonely hearts
I like, that dinosaur names have a meaning.

Oh, yes that's true
It could be considered as a rare species like these (fictional) dinosaurs:
Steakosaurus - this herbivore was a real highlight at every BBQ for the carnivores.
Coffeevenator - a theropod addicted to a special beverage.
