Description When I wandered through our, Prehistoric Kingdom's forum, I found some complaints regarding the Allosaurus, its numbers of teeth in particular. So I twiddled around which things I can correct without destroying the model and passing to me the double amount of work on an already rigged and textured model.

If I start tearing into the mesh and delete or add parts, then this leads to a screwed up UV coordinates, which usually keep the textures in place. If this happens, you will see ugly patches in your textured model and adjusting the UV is nearly impossible in Blender, because it tend to be a chaotic mess.
Applying a new UV usually ends up with the result, that parts of my painted textures won't fit to the corresponding parts and I really don't want to repaint the whole textures, since I have other models to do for Prehistoric Kingdom and other commissions.
This is the reason, why I couldn't take all of your suggestions into account.

I could increase the teeth by copying the mesh of some the already existing teeth. Adjusting the neck in order to let it appear more bulkier was an easy task, while creating a different material with the right amount of gloss for the eyes was a bit of trial and error.

The texture does look better now. Also the sheen to the eye was a good addition. I think maybe the pupil should be a bit darker, though- right now it looks a bit greyish and almost clouded over, in a way. If that makes sense.

The scales look really good and very realistic, and I like the wrinkles on the stomach and neck.

I mostly adjusted the given texture by some effects, which achieved with putting the normal map in an layer above the painted color texture. But the most work went into setting up the material in the 3D software (Blender, in my case). You can paint a very detailed and vivid texture, but this sucks, if you don't have the proper setup for rendering your model plus the environment (here, it was a photo, which I took during a walk.)

Finding the right amount of gloss for the eye was a great guess work, because if I use the shader node, which makes surfaces shiny, too much, then the eye becomes to a mirror while loosing its eye color.

Dunno how many teeths it should have but it did look awesome before and it still does even with more teeths, maybe a bit more scary now with those added

Well, I looked up the average number of teeth in a scientific description of Allosaurus fragilis and according to this paper Allosaurus had roughly 62 teeth in its upper jaw and 52 in the lower jaw.
I didn't add the exact number of teeth in the model, but I took care of giving it a more realistic look. During its life time an Allosaurus repeatedly lost some teeth, so this should be ok.
