Last year, I think it was around November, I started to make some sketches of cybernetic creatures known as Cydinomorph in the Chronostar universe (which was created by a dear friend of mine). They are former humans that got conversed into a horrifying mix of Tyrannian technology and human anatomy to fight relentlessly against the remaining humans that dare to express open resistance against the invaders.I call this model aΒ RaptormorphΒ due to the dromaeosaurid sickle claws on the artificial feet and legs. This model is extremely nimble and equipped with deadly claws on its limbs, which got augmented by cybernetic implants. Most of the face was removed in the surgery to implant new sensory systems, which are partially housed in the mask and provide a direct interface to the nerves as well as the circuits of the cybernetic elements. However, some human elements were left to demoralize every enemy on the battlefield.

My friend and creator of this story universe gave me some vital clues on the design and we kept talking to each other when I was doing line sketches.
I also got some inspiration from Alien, Quake and from the Borg from Star Trek.

The initial idea came from my friend who created the story universe for this and other creatures. He told me that this fraction of an intelligent dinosaur race, the Tyrannians, use higher technology to turn humans into cyborg beings. The name "Cydinomorph" implies that these cyborgs have a dinosaur-like form. So that gave me plenty of room to play with ideas.
