SELF PROJECTION.... AWAAAAAY~~~~>

Something very strange happened to me this year.

I arrived at this place knowing perfectly well that I was only going to be here temporarily. Because I knew I wasn't going to stick around for very long I didn't really go out of my way to make friends. I focused mostly on myself and sometimes purely on just surviving. I wasn't trying to be overly nice or trying to please other people, trying to get them to like me. That's not to say I was being blunt and unsympathetic to others, it just means I wasn't putting on any kind of "being nice" act in any way. I was purely myself.

Therefore I find it very surprising that, for some reason this year, I have had numerous people make it quite clear that they're rather unhappy to see me leave. And not just in a sort of thrown-aside comment either, but a clear expression of sadness to see me go.

It's very strange how people somehow managed to hold me in high enough regard that they'd miss me when I leave when all I have done in the time I was here was be myself.

ANYWAY! about the picture itself the introspection above is honestly the reason I drew this. I intended to write something of the same effect on the picture itself only to remember the unwritten fanfic rule of "never impose your own beliefs and tastes into a canon character" XDD;;

Erm... nothing really to say. regarding the scene that's taking place XD;; only technical notes.

I wanted to draw Usagi's water bottle but since he straps it to his right side and I already had his hand there it would've just resulted in a cluster-fuck XD *siiiighs* I really wanted to draw it too.

Inspector Ishida is.. ..ridiculously fun to draw XDDD Another character I'm very fond of Even if I haven't run into him as much.
I feel guilty though XD;; I really should draw Sanshobo who I friggen adore but I've never drawn

Also... background practice I guess? with no fancy colouring to help me cheat XP and.... heaven help me... it was FUN!

...I have no idea why I felt the need to draw this in Black and white XD;; but there you go.

I lightened the black on their clothes so as not to kill the folds I'd drawn XP;; I like those too much.

Anyway there you go! nothing else to add!
