In which C-Puff bought a new brush set to ink with.
I'm afraid we're only getting 2 pages this week. It's been a little rough.
I'm flying to Australia this Tuesday until literally the first of November. Although I may have time to draw for myself while there, I know from experience I won't have time to stick to a decent update scheduel, so we're gonna be on hiatus until the 6th of November.
I hope that you guys will encourage me to pick this comic up when I come back and really kick my butt to keep going. there's a LOT of plot in this thing and i REALLY want to keep going with this story. But I've never done a long running comic before. (this is now officially the longest comic I've ever worked on at page 12). And since I'm fueled on internet validation, I hope you guys will continue to support me and en encourage me to keep going
(seriously. I am genuinely fueled by strangers on the internet. it's a problem )All the puns on this page are my own. I'm equally ashamed and proud.

I'm glad you like it, but no, I'm not going to colour these, and I would appreciate it if no-one else colours them either please. I made a conscious choice to make them pure black and white without even greyscale.

Thank you XD I had to work so hard on those puns. I don't like puns where the word has to be completely changed to be a joke. So I had think of ways to not rely on that for a joke.

This comic is so beautifully drawn, especially the background.
I love how you draw sans; he seems so... round somehow and I love the expressions he makes.

Thank you so very much! 8'D that actually makes me super happy because backgrounds are a big weakness of mine, and something I've always avoided in the past u.u; so this comic is really forcing me to improve on that level because I can't just fake it with colours X'D I have to draw things like perspective and details. So It really makes me very happy you like it! ;w;
I notice I've changed Sans' proportions from the newer pages compared to these old ones 8'D but he hasn't changed much. So I can still say I'm happy you like how I draw him! X3
I love adding details to the background XD It's almost like a compulsion tbh. I don't know why. It just feels like I need to add little things to give it life. (In the second panel, way in the distance, you can also kinda see what's suppose to be the fishing pole XD)

"Add little things to give it life" I agree with that. Little things are what reveal most of a character/place/etc. That's why I always love to spot them (this is random but when I played Undertale, somehow I was so happy to find Alphys' fish-patterned lamp

Woah, "serious plot"...? Then again the title does sounds rather serious... uh huh! I'm a bit scared now, haha.
For me the characterinteraction already worths it.
I think you are doing well on comics - it's expressive and clear what is going on. And it fits the simple "webcomic" style paneling and I think you do well on judging the shots (like if it's a close-up, full body or a whole scene). It all flows well and doesn't feel ragged at all.
