Description
Night falls in the ‘Shimmer Domain’, a mermaid kingdom that Chris stumbled upon, that day.
After a day of getting to know the merfolk, he and one merm, Rhodonite, decide to rest together for the night - She’s a royal bodyguard, so of course he’d feel safe around her (Plus, I LOVE the tail. X3 ). Oh, and the breathable starfish on his mouth was an idea by Millia. X)

Just then, he hears music and heads for it. Rhodonite opens her eyes….but knows he won’t get into trouble, so she lets him be.

And there, playing a big, aquatic-shaped harp, was Melody, who was hugely moved by the one sketch Chris had drawn for her. A talented singer and musician, now returning the favour for the stickboy.

. . . Can you believe I’m 30 and I still love doing this sort of comfort-drawing? C: 🤣

Anyway, once again, MissMillia had the honour of colouring the backgrounds for me.
Only this time, I directed her a bit. I’ve done some directing for one or two other artists I’ve collaborated with, too - I’m getting quite good at this!

Also, I wanna talk about Melody. Of all the mermaids Millia’s made, we decided to have her tag along with Chris the most (just like other friends’ mers have done). Also, it turns out that she was the very first mermaid that Millia had ever created! And she’s been improved on since, especially on how she’s coloured.

Oh, and a bit of news - Happy International Mermaid Day! …Honestly though, I only found out yesterday that it’d be that day, yesterday. This comic page was just conveniently made for this week.
Speaking of events though, I’m likely skipping making an art for Easter, this year. I can’t do something for every event for health-reasons. But I’ve prepared something else that’ll occur soon, anyway.
