Description This is a mini script pack that contains 2 very similar scripts. The only credit I'll take is for putting this in script form. The actual method is only known to me because of a very kind friend here on dA.

Here are some examples of what can be done using the scripts:

Great script, as always I love the effect around the outside circle which reminds me of one of those ammo-belt things.

I made two very similar pictures with it, they are [link] and [link] if you feel like having a squiz.

how the hell do you make them look so good ??? i use the script (love the effect ) but then what ?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CabinTom In reply to bertels0n [2007-08-23 03:12:03 +0000 UTC]

Zoom in on interesting parts (but you'll have to up the quality to get nice results). Or you can also use post transforms. I suggest you just experiment with it, don't limit yourself.

bertels0n In reply to CabinTom [2007-08-24 22:32:39 +0000 UTC]

what is a post transform?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CabinTom In reply to bertels0n [2007-08-24 23:30:45 +0000 UTC]

Post transforms are enabled using the button next to the one for final transforms (final transforms are another thing you might want to look into).

are you talking about apo?? lol im lost when i zoom and stuff i get cool things but when i use a script in goes back to the original size.

CabinTom In reply to bertels0n [2007-08-25 13:03:17 +0000 UTC]

Yep, I'm talking about Apo. If you're new to the program you should look for some of the beginners tutorials other deviants have posted around here.

Neat. If you really want to get into scripting, try out the 'random' function.

I appreciate you taking the time to release these scripts. I admit that I've been very curious as to how these flames are created, but I've been too preoccupied to try. (That and I would have been tempted to write another tutorial and didn't want more people irritated with me. ) I can't wait to try these out. Thanks again.

Hey, if you ever want any tutorials converted to scripts let me know! (I've done one for Fractal-Impact so far... oh, and the Heart tutorial for someone who was having difficulty making them)

How do I use these? I downloded em, extracted em to Program files / Apophysys 2.02 / Scripts, opened them, ran them, and all I got was a little dot in the center.

Thanks for your help.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CabinTom In reply to Andantonius [2007-07-04 20:29:12 +0000 UTC]

You'll need a version of Apophysis that supports the JuliaN and Juliascope variations. The newest official beta release 2.06b will work just fine.
