This musta taken you some time... hmm... I agree, it's really good for a first time, but I think the fur texture looks almost... wet. Unfortunetly, I've never worked with this kinda thing, so I wouldn't know how to fix that... maybe add a further variety when it comes to the length? Or more shades...? But it IS really good. Better than I could do any day! xD Me no like realism much. Oh, and the leg transition from the lighter, main color to the leg color looks a tad too sudden... maybe add just a but of a fade, or fur texture there?

You know how much I love this! The fur is so unique, I really love the style. However, you can still recognise that you've drawn it :3 Somehow it almost looks like mosaics. Not sure how xD
The only crit I have is on the back legs. They look too short...?

Ah well I must definitely agree with the others: your little addition of the fur textures makes it all the more better. And for a first try with the technique, I dare say that you did great. I especially like how you did the fur down on her haunch... the directional flow of the fur is perfect right there.

If you'd like some advice on how to improve any, then I might recommend using softer and more natural strokes. The fur here comes together in points, and it makes her look sort of "sticky". If that makes any sense, haha! But clearly you've got a good grasp of the way fur flows and whatnot. With practice I'm sure you'll be amazing at it. Nice job, Jade!

Well,I think that looks pretty good for your first time Jade. I never get the fur right even though I can draw some fur.
Fur on the face is the hardest part for me,it's always an obscure.I can't make realistic fur along with lines,but you have done a good job on this one.
