It's the fact that Sentinels only hunt Mutants. SHIELD could have put out a superhuman armoured division, changed the design to something that doesn't haunt the nightmares of a species, and it wouldn't have been a big deal. But Sentinels. At least Cyclops wants unity, even if he's not fighting for it anymore.
