I have a problem with my kit lense though, faulty focusing, so I'll most likely have to send it in and get it serviced

This gets me stuck with a zoom lens that at best isn't exactly optimal...

I might thieve my better half's DSLR when we get down to her placee though

Guess we'll just have to wait and see...
