WHAT'S THIS? CAKE-A-TRON SUBMITTED SOMETHING?YES HELLO I'M NOT DEAD but I might as well be with the absolute dormancy of this account honestly sorry guys, got really caught up in not being able to draw??? And DETROIT: Become Human too that's my excuse. Not a good one but it's all I've got. I'll post a journal or something to actually explain my absence for those who care.
ANYWHO my entry for 's contest featuring her character Lionel Hamilton (the big guy with the computer for a head) and one of my characters who I haven't shared with you yet, but her name is 'Mother'. Yep, just Mother. Or more, Mother of Plague I guess, and they're both dressed up for Halloween which has already happened, I'm just fashionably late as per usual. Lionel is a, uh... I dunno, he's like a wizard/Pumpkin King kinda guy, I couldn't decide which I wanted, and Mother is dressed fittingly as a plague doctor. No background because that's too much for me at the moment.
It's blurry and weirdly coloured because I took it with my phone since I still haven't figured out how to use the new scanner (it's a scary looking thing too, big black boxy machine) but once I do I'll update this with a better image. AS FOR NOW THOUGH this will have to do. I've got some other little doodles I could probably post as well but I'll do that tomorrow I think.
It's a bit messy too because I've got a new sketchbook and the paper is freaking weird, it won't let the markers blend together properly and it doesn't like pencil either so I dunno what I'm gonna do about that. #I_Tried

Oh! Ohhh!! Now this is spoopy treat! A machine object head witch character is something expectantly cool, and I adore the aesthetic of plague doctors. All of this is just amazing and I love it all!

Oh yes it was super fun to combine the sci-look of Lionel with something reminiscent of classic child's stories. Yassss plague doctors are my aesthetic I love them so much, such a brilliant and fun design to play with. Thank you heaps! X3

THIS IS SO AMAZING JUST LOOK AT IT AHHHHHHHHHHHH
This is so super duper nice! The Coloring, it's not as bad as you think it is! It's so wonderful, even with the new piece of sketchbook you used for this entry! And I think that Lionel is somehow more like a Pumpkin King for me, but Wizard works too. XDD
Your character, Mother of Plagues is also amazing! Such details, much coloring and wow! I can definitely see the references on the original Plague Doctor.
Those twigs, adds a nice little twist to make the setting more terrifying. XDD

Ah I'm super glad it looks alright! It's been so long since I've drawn anything this scale and I'm feeling a bit out of practice XD But yass I completely agree with the Pumpkin King thing it definitely suits him more, I just couldn't figure out how to do the pumpkin bit XD

Oh, don't beat yourself up over not drawing or uploading as much. That's a very quick downward spiral to fall into. :c Just draw/ upload whenever you feel like it, don't feel bad if you don't.
Besides, this looks really lovely! I'm totally digging both of these character designs. I really love the way you handle metal, it always looks wonderful.
