Description I made this cake for an australian class mate who was getting married. I had a lot of firsts on this cake, the first cake with satin ribbon, the first chocolate mud cake, and the first cake to ever fall apart in my hands when trying to de-mold it. The cake tasted really good, a bit chocolaty for me. Since it is really hard to color fondant black and not have it get really dry, I painted the vines after placing them on the cake.

You did well to paint the vines black after...I bet that took a while. I love your roses....they look real

Thanks Gina. I also had less then 24 hours to bake and decorate this cake including the roses because I had final exams for my classes during the week.
