Happy Easter everybody! I thought Cream the Rabbit seemed perfectly Easter-y today.(Watch me draw it here! )
I made the linework colored for a softer feel... You can check out a couple of other versions with typical black lines and more pastel colors here:

Seriously, though, thanks. I don't know if you watched the process video, but I tried something different with the shading technique, and it saved a fair amount of time. I always take the opportunity to learn something on a Sonic piece.

No problem! I'm trying to figure out how to make the screencap work properly on my old machine without making it too laggy to draw properly. It's... A work in progress. Cream went pretty well, but I had to draw her at a lower resolution than I typically draw at. I did well at this past convention, so I'm hoping to get a laptop that'll run things better. (It'll also have the bonus of making me more mobile so I don't have to hermit myself away to work all the time.)

Yeah, black lines are pretty much the default for me. I don't know why, but when I draw Sonic characters, I always take the opportunity to experiment with things. I always seem to learn something useful from it, though. I used different coloring and shading techniques on this, too, and it saved me some time, so I'll likely be using those tricks again.
I'm sorry, that's probably more than you wanted to know.
