What are Blobobin?

Blobobin are a species of curious amorphic blob like creatures from an unknown planet. This planet is known as a soft squishing sound among Blobobin, but was nicknamed Osmo by other species.

About Blobobin

Blobobin are sentient and capable of logic and high level thinking. They can problem solve and are able to form meaningful bonds with other blobobin and other species. They are well known for teleportation and evolving over time. They are travelers and often explore new worlds. If a blobobin likes a planet after exploring they sometimes choose to stay and make a home for themselves.

Blobobin Anatomy
Blobobin are formed from the gooey viscous liquid that runs beneath several layers of soil and dirt, otherwise known as the crust of Osmo. The core of Osmo is made up of a clear jelly like substance that flows once a year to the surface, creating more Blobobin. Newly awakened Blobobin are called Blobs. Blobs absorb food, items, and other materials that they convert into energy. Energy is used to perform their first transformation into a Blobobin, and energy is used to transform into temporary forms as they grow, known as versions.

Most Blobobin are usually in their adult Blobobin form. Taking a version form all the time would require access to an unlimited source of energy as being in a version form burns off gathered energy.

A Blobobin can have any shape eye, ears, and tail. They must have a Blob and Blobobin form that retain the general shape of each. They can have any amount of fur. Blobobin do not have goopey skin like Blobs, they instead form a layer of thin fur to hold their goop inside. Their goop can be released through their paw pads, eyes, and mouth. Version forms must be unlocked through group participation through random events and group missions.
