My TwitterFirst WIP of my Taylor Swift drawing.
Took about 2 hours to get to this point.Graphite on smooth mat paper.
The entire drawing is 17" long.

This may sound sort of like a silly question, but does smooth mat paper allow for the graphite to blend a bit better than on bristol?

Actually, no as I just found out. It's basically the same as bristol, except thinner.

Ah, I was curious because sometimes bristol can be a pain in the butt to get the shading started on. Thinner paper sounds scary though, hopefully a hole won't wear in it.
