the marine biome wanderer looms over her, as big as a whale but with soft eyes that ease her fears, backlit by the sunset that casts a golden glow over the shoreline. Porcelain sits primly upon an old, weather worn dock. her leaves and petals are back to full health now the difficult work is done, her tail once again dripping with pristine fresh water. she tilts her head back to gaze up at the other spirit, eyes drawn to the pretty stones that adorn his shoulders.

a particularly rough wave splashes up the beach and breaks upon Makoa’s wedge tail where he lays in the shallows, stealing her attention. she squints against the spray, watching the blues and teals of the water swirl beneath the foam, until she realises the colours belong to long, flowing fur of other esk. as if they heard her thoughts, a sleek head pops up through the surface, soon joined by another and another.

before the sky is able to darken past dusk, the quiet beach becomes a buzzing gathering of esk sharing their stories, with the wanderer listening kindly to each eager spirit. intrigued, Porcelain shakes away her shyness and joins them.

the spark that led her here hovers high above the party, one of many, a bright star among constellations.

we made it!!! damn I am SO happy with how these turned out,, definitely gonna use this style again. also if you look at them in order in my twwm gallery folder the water should line up heheh. Porcelain is so pretty ;o; it's been really fun to shift her marking designs to match the things around her, and though I didn't write much with these prompts, I've still gotten to know her personality a lot through them! 💙🤍 congrats to everyone else who made it through the quest!!
