Description The Rifle Knights division of Arkandesh is the best in terms of technology and quality for the time. Though they were only 900 in number just a group of 3 is enough to single handedly defend a choke point from an army of three thousand or as the song goes, Arkandesh deploys a single rifle knight squad (6 Knights) for every company in the army, because of the convenient feature of Rifle Knight armor being incredibly durable and almost completely immune to the conventional musket bullets that Euraesia makes use of (from the front), the Rifle Knights were the most busy of the troops in the battlefield, mainly they were used as the retaliation force in a scouting group. There are always at least 3 rifle knights during an engagement, one overwatch, one rear support, and one frontman.
Rifle knights are iconic for their kneel firing position, from the front all the enemy will see are unbroken metal armor of mithril plates.

Standard Issued Rifle Knight Armaments:

Arkandesh Bristol Type-1 7 cartrige, ArBris-ca7 (430AU) -
Unlike the AthLR-436 the ArBris-1 rifles are less consistent in construction design since they are usually custom crafted by their owners or commission built by blacksmiths for the knights. ArBris-1 rifles were usually engraved with the name of the knight and their coat of arms, additional designs include family crests, flora tattoos, and the Thaesian god or goddess they are devoted to. Arbris function the same as the AthLR-436 the main difference being that the ArBris can house seven bullets in its magazine due to its shotgun-like magazine design except that the pump was not present and a spring consistently pushes the bullets into the loading chamber.
Some experienced Rifle Knights complain that the rifle's magazine design was too difficult to use, at the 4th cartridge loaded the spring resists a bit too hard. In a battle situation Rifle Knights who haven't had the problem fixed usually didn't bother loading the last 3 bullets.

Arkandesh Kingdom Issued Longsword -
A 2 meter sword, pommel to blade tip, springy metal sword that was used at the late eras of the medieval age of Anthaesia. The design was adapted from the Euraesian's more superior two handed cruciform longsword being Anthaesia's go to sword design for centuries.

Standard Issued Rifle Knight Armor:

Arkandesh Model 44 Firefight Armor -
A supposedly thin steel skin coated on the outer side with 1 mm thin pure mithril. Because the rifle knight's armor design was supposed to be a full suit that covers all the skin the armor is highly uncomfortable to wear when sitting down, over time some parts of the suit were removed as battles revealed the detriments of being fully clad in metal during a firefight, even though the metal was invulnerable to bullet fire because the plates were loose the sheer blunt force of each direct hit was enough to break bones, cause severe trauma, and even kill. The armor became heavier as more layers of cotton and padding were placed under the metal to absorb most of the force of the bullets, the full cover helmets severely lowered the knight's field of view therefore replacing them with an umbrella like helmet more effective for deflecting shrapnel, finally a tall collar giving a bit of space between the shoulders and the neck protects most of the vital head parts from direct hits. The single thigh plate armor part was intentional by design since Arkandesh was desperately running out of mithril rifle knights were taught to get used to kneeling on one knee during the battle as they fire which the lowered knee will have the thigh plate covering the exposed leg.
Kingdom standard was to save more mithril so that more fighting forces can have reliable bullet resistant armor rather than heavily investing on a few fancy knights.
