As you can tell, I really gave up. This was a project for class, but since I was sick for so long, I can't present it, I just have to turn it in. HELLA WORK THOUGH.ANYWAYS, this reflects upon a time when my mom used to put me down for being too fat. Every mean thing she said really got to me, I really believed her, and during that process I started to ignore the people that actually really cared about me. I always thought that I would be the "Ugly one" and that no one will ever like me for who I am, that I'm always going to be disgusting. I dunno how, but I just started ignoring her, because I was like "Why should I respect your opinion, if you're not doing anything good for me?" This whole issue of hating myself went away, that these issues are only temporary. I would go on a loong lecture, but I can save that for something else, you guys get the point lol.

This makes me rage so goddamn hard. Especially because I know how painfully common this is. For some reason mothers often feel like they need to protect their children from "ruining their lives" for being a few pounds above the avarage. And the way they do this is always almost assaulting. Its the same mentality as with school bullies. Its very rare for a person to want to start losing weight if they are constantly humiliated and harassed about the subject. A wussy nerdy kid isn't goint to "man up" because he is constantly being picked on, usually quite the opposite. I don't understand how people in this day and age can still believe in this mentality that beating up a beaten person is going to make their life magically better.
I really like your portrayal of the subject. I'd like the malicious intent behind the big hand a bit more visible, though the sharp red nails bring the point across nicely enough. Its really nicely presented, with otherwise a nice calming scene to be disturbed by the outside interference. About the technical quality I see that you kind of gave up on certain polish, though it doesn't necessarily make the picture less interesting. Though I feel that this picture would deserve it.

Well, yeah, my mom kinna acts like a high school girl.. so to her I'm not as pretty as the other girls in our family and that you know how they like to compete, hah, if they're trying to compete with me I must be the top standard ;D But thank you so much, this is far too common, but I think it's more of the fact of "Not normal like the others" concept. I don't think there's anything wrong with watching out for your kid's health, but humiliating them based on looks is not okay with me D: Another way to think of it is that the people who are oppressing you are just liars. All they do is try to impress others by changing who they are, they claim that they're good people when they're not, so how accurate are the mean words they say?

Yeah I'm good, just can't eat any kinna dairy though, I'm already lactose intolerant, but just a hint of dairy, my stomach is gonna get all messed up lol.
