This is a really pleasant piece to look at. The expression on her face is so lifelike, and wary. I guess I would be too if I was holding a flamingo.
Great design and soft feel from the pencils. I forgot how appealing pencil crayons looked when they aren't pushed so hard to make the colours completely solid.

I like the line near the beginning of the book that goes something like, "Alice couldn't quite think of what a flame looked like after it had been blown out, for she did not recall having ever seen such a thing." I haven't read the book for years, but line has always stayed with me. It makes me laugh.

I realized I had to put those shadows when the drawing was pretty advanced.. so they look a bit dirty./i dont know if thats the word but u get the idea/
