Have you read any of Venom Volume #2, because this looks nothing like Agent Venom. Or Flash Thompson. Flash has long hair, and Agent Venom wears Riot armor.

Firstly he is wearing riot armour and does it matter that it doesn't look exactly like the comic book that you have specifically read? My artistic interpretation of how i would draw Agent venom is completely separate from the comics, if you say things like this too me that means you have to go on thousands of deviant profiles and slag off other peoples work just because it isn't an exact copy, so take your unwanted input elsewhere.

But the thing is that if you want to pay hommage to a character,then you should at least make them reminiscant o the character. You got no white spider on the chest, you got no armor, just a Liefeld inspired pouch and a knife, and Flash doesn't have his current grizzled look. The character is unrecognizeable as any incarnation o Venom. He looks more like Carnage.
I'm haveing a hard time understanding the question about me Speciffically reading. Is that meant to imply that I haven't read Venom Volume 2?

I dont give a rats ass about whether you've read the comic or not, the comic has nothing to do with me does it? As anyone with eyes can see that he is wearing riot armour but hasn't been completely enveloped by the symbiote, this means hes not completely taken over in this image and therefore wouldn't have the spider logo as it isn't on his chest. His "grizzled" look is from the symbiote pulling at his face. so please go away and hate somewhere else.

Well someone has sore nerves. All I did was say one piece of your art is unfaithfull to the source material. I never said anything like "You Suck As An Artist". Its really too bad you have such a shitty atitude, you'll lose a lot of potential fans like that.

I have a positive attitude actually i just don't appreciate someone such as yourself coming out of nowhere to give un-constructive criticism. And although you never said "you suck as an artist" it is suggested by the fact you just decided to have a go at me for not "paying homage to the comic". Yes i like comics and I've only read spider island with agent venom. I put my work out there and put it out to be appreciated if you've got something constructive or helpful to say about the piece then fair enough, don't compare people to their source material otherwise you wont get any innovation or creativity, without adapting pre-existing concepts we would'nt have the brilliant comics, films or games that we do today, so for you to tell me i have a "shitty attitude" is quite frankly insulting when it was YOU and not me that started this with you're first insult. If you want to comment on something don't be a douche about it say how it can be improved without accusations saying "maybe the armour should be clearer", if you had i would've thanked you but you didn't. So yes you touched a sore nerve, because all artist pour time and effort into their work and slave for the image to be right in their eyes, so don't be that douche that insults peoples work because they can hide behind a screen.

You know that saying what is wrong with a picture is constructive criticism. All criticism is constructive. I didn't just come out and say that it sucked. I said what was wrong with it. If no one ever tells you that you did something wrong you never get better. And art isn't created for the creator to feel good about themselves. It's created to be apriciated. If you make something that an onlooker doesn't apriciate, then your art is useless.
Im not saying you should try and apease every one all the time and not creat art that you like making, but when someone says you did someting wrong you should consider it, instead of biting their head off.
