umm... well I'll try my best not to flame, because I don't want to offend any ZaDr person or cause them to become aggressive against me...

I know Anti-ZaDr people and ZaDr people both have very different views... Each individual has their own personal reason for liking one or the other... You must respect that, because we all are different...

Personally, I tend to follow the canon story, and yes, call me lame and un-creative if you wish, but I respect every individual creator and their creations... If the creator does not like it, or there is not a single sign in the series for a "loving" relationship, I follow that wish, because if people started to disrespect my creations in the same way, I would really not appreciate it and I would regret bringing them to life in the first place... I appreciate and show respect for every canon story and in Invader Zim, I see no true evidence that Zim and Dib "love each other"... rather, they are enemies... having them as lovers would make the plot less exciting for me...

Though if you view that last point as a flame, I truly apologize...

Second, I just don't favor Yaoi in general. I don't want to say anything that might offend you or another ZaDr person or anyone who is "gay/lesbian/bi/etc." since this is MY opinion and not the necessary truth, but personally, I believe men were created to be with females, and not male with male and female with female. Even though they are just a cartoon and you might view it that we can do whatever we want with them, remember that this is MY opinion and I am trying not to flame you personally for choosing to favor their relationship... It's fine... I just don't like it... It doesn't mean I don't like the PEOPLE who like it... You're probably a nice person, along with all the others who like ZaDr, but you guys just have a different opinion... past that, there isn't much we Anti-ZaDr's and ZaDr's should be arguing about. I bet you'll get a variety of responses from many other people, but this is MY response... I'm not telling you Anti-ZaDr is better or ZaDr sucks... I'm just enlightening you with my opinion... so, you might get a different response from another anti-ZaDr person...

Haha, thanks. I'm glad your not flaming me for asking.

I am straight, but like yaoi. I just happen to like this couple and see chemistry in the show where many, it seems, do not. I just keep hearing that many anti-zadrs flame others for work seemingly without basis. I am sure that some flame just to flame, but thank you for explaining your POV to me, it's really nice to meet someone who can state their opinions without completely being a jerk.

And yeahh... both sides tend to flame each other just because they have different views, and it is true there are people out there to flame people just because they like hurting others, or maybe they're just having a bad day and need to take their anger out on people on the internet... But it is possible for both sides to be nice to each other...

And that was no problem! I really appreciate different views and opinions, and other people's concepts and ideas too... :3
