Description Making unique OC'S part 2
face shapes.

People usually just thinks in giving a cool hair and stuff to a OC, and TOTALLY forgets the face, and it end up a clone of other ones, with just a different hair and clothes
the face shape is one of the MOST IMPORTANT THINGS
even if you have a very shoujo desu style, THEY MUST BE THERE, subtly but still existing

Well, I drew them very girly on this, but you can look for images of males with these shapes on the internet
basicaly it's the same thing, what changes the most is the face itself (eyes, nose, mouth..)

hope it helps~

Very nice! Rarely does anyone think to include face shape, and rarely is it brought up in tutorials, and you included the four basic and most known face shapes. This really helped me remember them and to keep them in mind. Thanks~.

And you have a point. Even in older shoujo style and modern works, a great artist recognizes to show some differentiation between the faces shapes and traits.

You forgot the fifth: the spear, also known as the "snake-face"
Prominent jaw, with a long-ish face. the difference is mostly in the jaw, though. like an upside-down teardrop.
(it looks like every generic manga face you've ever seen, but applied to real life.)
