I've always liked the idea of a moveset based entirely on Mario spinoff games for someone like Daisy or Waluigi honestly. And in Daisy's case she could also have the bouncing projectile or some enemy attributes from Super Mario Land, the game she originated in

Now we have 4 female characters in Smash Bros. Still no sign of Zelda, or for that matter Ganondorf. But with the inclusion of Toon Link, it's only a mater of time before they are as well. Also, I personally think Jigglypuff is a female as well.
