I did but this day was overwhelming. I walked about 15 miles in 90'F heat and the humidity was horrible. The memories were wonderful but walking that far in that kind of climate was a drag

We used the subway

We used a rather comfy bus. The biggest complaint I have about it was the bathroom was so tiny.

We based ourselves in Rome for A few days. My feet wore out!

We went for 9 days and went all over the country. 3 days in Rome, 3 days in Sorrento, and 3 days in Florence

You got a good tour then. The first time we went, we stayed in Rome, Florence, and Venice. Visited Pisa for a day whilst in Florence. The second time we went, we were in Sorrento and visited Capri, Positano, Amalfi and Naples. We got in Revello and Pompeii as well. At the end we went to Venice again. Both trips were wonderful.
