Description

This has been some time in the making but I think I have perfected it, this in ten thing I would do if I was given control of the biggest and most profitable media organisation in the world.

10: Get rid of the Liberty Square in Disneyland

I wasn’t going to go into the theme parks, mainly because I have not interested in them, but I needed to fill this list some how and this was the best way and this links into my number one pick. It is well documented that Walt Disney was a hard-core Conservative and Nationalist, something he is often mocked for, especially in the American Dad episode “Familyland” with the character of Roy Family who is a direct parody of the man. And so, Liberty Square was his tribute to America’s lineage and the centrepiece is the infamous Hall of Presidents. There have been some great leaders in American history like Abraham Lincoln, John F. Kennady, Grover Cleveland and Franklin D. Roosevelt. But at the same time, there have been some really bad and controversial people like Richard Nixon, George W. Bush and Woodrow Wilson. And it’s well known that when Donald Trump came to power, lots of Disneyland fans where angry and spikes were put around the stage at the Hall of Presidents to stop people from vandalising the Donald Trump robot. So, to make Disney as A-political as possible, I think it’s time we retired Liberty Square.

9: Lower the price for tickets to Disneyland

I think anyone would make this decision, so I don’t think I need to explain myself, Disney is the most powerful company on earth, so I think there far from losing any revenue. Plus, with the park peering made more A-political, more people would be encouraged to go.

8: Limit the number of Marvel movies that come out each year

If you look at some of the better Marvel movies, you’ll see than they came out in a limited time frame with one or two a year, now there coming out more frequently and are becoming less good. So, if I was in charge, I would go back to having only one or two movies per year rather that three or four so they can focus on one at a time.

7: Realise the original unaltered versions of the original Star Wars Trilogy

This is another thing that everyone wants and haven’t got, George Lucas and Lucas Arts’s attitude to its fans and the franchise has been inexcusable and unprofessional. But as Disney owns Fox who own the rights to Star Wars on home media, it’s time they finally give fans what they really want and to realise the original movies that were realised in threatens in 1977, 1980 and 1983 in full HD for the world to see, many for the 50th anniversary in 2027.

6: Do more abstract projects

Animation has had a wide rang on style and tones, Disney are no strangers to experimentations, especially with the Fantasia movies. But over the years, people have become more disillusioned with Disney as it has been trying too hard to stick to its roots and what people like. No medium is immune to repetition, especially if it is a multi-media franchise like Disney, but that doesn’t mean that it can’t redeem itself in the future. Disney can keep its Disney Princess range and its feel-good image, but in cinemas, it should be seen like an art gallery.

5: Start using Hand-Draw animated again

As of writing this, I found out that Disney are actually planning on making their next movie “Wish” hand-drawn, so this mite become a reality if that dose well. Some people may think that CGI animation in cheaper and easier to do than hand-draw animation, but the truth in that CGI animation is a lot more complex and expensive that the old fashion techniques. And some contris (especially in Europe and Asia) still use hand-draw animation. A more recent return to the art form in the Netflix original movie Klaus which wanted to see what Disney would look like if it stuck to its roots, some maybe, Disney could use this as a reference point for future projects. Now I’m not saying “get rid of CGI animation all together” I’m saying that Disney needs to even out hand-draw and CGI projects to make the chose of films feel more wide ranged.

4: Hire more Foreign Artists and Directors

Many people have turned to foreign animation from Japan and Europe as Disney and DreamWorks feel exactly the same as they have. Disney “has” used foreign artist before like with Gerald Scarfe on Hercules and Jankovics Marcell on Kingdome of the Sun (later non as Emperor’s New Groove). My main ambition is to make Disney move more into an artistic direction, not like an art house style but rather to make their movies feel a lot more superette from one another by giving them to creative teams from different counties and mediums. One place to draw from for new artists is French and European comics with Artist like Moebius, Jean-Claude Mézières, Michel Plessix, Luiz Eduardo de Oliveira, André Franquin and Juanjo Guarnido. Disney has also distributed lots of Studio Ghibli movies in English so some of its art staff could also work on some of its projects.

3: Give greater control to Artists and Directors to make what they want

Another problem with Disney is the rate at which some of the movies come out, with Pixar, they flip flop between one and two films a year which means we get some stinkers like the Good Dinosaur and Cars 3 when they should really just stick to just one movie every one or two years. And while directors like Pete Docter still get to make the films they want, there’s still a clear index of corporate produced, max acceded films like Toy Story 4, Ralph Breaks the Internet, Turning Red, Planes and Lightyear. In an ideal world, every artist and creature should just be allowed to do what they want, but at the same time, they need money and planning to make their dramas a reality. So, what I’m trying to say is that the creative team behind Walt Disney Animation Studios and Pixar Animation Studios need more say in the direction of the company so that they can make more invitees and experimental film as well as taking much deeper themes and topics, and the money men who actually run the company should only focused on budgeting and finance and not the overall projects. Creatures would still have to follow certain guideline like age rating an dugite laminations, but the studios should not be allowed to make changes based on audience appeal or machinability.

2: Stop making Live Action Disney Remake

If there’s one thing, we can all agree on, it’s that audiences are getting stupider every single year. Movie studios know that even if an audience hates a film, they’ll go to see it ether way and they are always right. Movie criterium has now become politics and people feel like they have to go see a movie so they can let everyone know what they thought of it (I’m looking at you Angry Joe). Studios don’t see us like people, they see use like animals who will always do what we’re told and walk right into the slaughterhouse to be killed and eaten. Also, Disney are clearly using their live action remake to divide fans with their overly woke attitudes meaning the hard left will always see it no matter what, to support their own ideology and the other half who don’t care with will be judge by the hard left for being hard “rights” and the actually hard rights will continue to make money. Live Action Disney Remake are back for audiences, and they need to stop so that they can save good money and to make better films.

1: Remove the companies Republican & Capitalist Policies

This is going to divide so mean people, but it has to be said none the less. This is something that many people attribute to the full of Disney as a company and its inevitable monopoly over media. Walt Disney was a Republican and as stated in the first pick, hard-core Conservative and Nationalist and with the afro mention Library Square and the park writing the words “Jesus” in the sky, it’s clear his influence is still present in the company and his hard-core fans to this very day. The Company itself is so protective of there image that they want to let anyone in their organisation make fun of them or their policies. People have notes that every time someone tries to make fun of Disney or Capitalist, the narrative tries to undo them like in Merry Poppins Returns and the Disney land parody episode of Rosan, as if people will realise the connection and start having thoughts of their own. The company’s association with China is also infamous and now Disney has to panda (no pun intended) to Chinese sensibilities and even support its evil acts as well as pandering to their investors like Blackrock. For more information, here’s a video that exposes everything I’m talking about and is my main source of reference for this part: www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ps34Br… . This is actively killing the company and if I (and most others) had my say, I would diazotate Disney with China and Blackrock and give everyone at the company the freedom of speech to speak out against Capitalist and injustice as well as removing its popularist and idealistic point of view.
