Description
Always found the firetug an interesting character. He didn't speak much but he was an important vessel none the same and he seemed level headed and down to earth for the most part.I've been in a TUGS binge lately, so whilst at work I decided to draw a character in the show I'd never drawn before and thus the Firetug appeared on my paper. I sketched it using a col erase blue pencil and then proceeded to ink and texture it by hand and then colored it in Photoshop. I'm quite please with how it came out...especially the coloring.
"Sorry I can't help. I'm needed incase of fire!"

Yep, the Fire Tug is a memorable secondary character that always gives you that priceless stern look whenever his model gets shot on camera. The visuals of TUGS under the directorial supervision of David Mitton and Chris Tulloch where just as important as the scripts where to the show. Even though the had the same static faces as the characters of the model episodes Thomas & Friends. The model layouts, character designs, and facial expressions where definitely allot more individualistic and detailed than the full animated shows of today made right now, Adventure Time, Gravity Falls, Steven Universe, etc. Anyway it's nice looking job as usual, and I'll be expecting more pictures from you in the near future.
