Description
So pleased to get the Daily Deviation...thanks for all the lovely commentsA little info: Mostly designed using my own recall of the general type of architecture required. In other words...made them up as I went along, lol. Mostly modelled in wax, silicone moulded and cast in resin or high grade plaster. The Potty Puffers railway range I drew out first as they had to be approved before I started modelling. The American Lighthouse range tested my eyesight and research skills to the limit but was a joy to model and the octagonal building is a model I made before going on to build the real thing in our garden...it was (and still is) a recording studio.

They are very beautiful. They remind me of these small buildings that I have had since I was little. It's uncanny how similar they are in style. Very well done.

Thanks...it's a long time ago now but some of these were sculpted for Leonardo and were kind of put out in competion with Winter and Lilliput. I always admired both...these were produced slightly more cheaply to compete

I'm just curious, what references did you use?

Amazing! You should definitely work on some fantasy architecture, considering that you barely used any references for these.

i LOVE these. When i was little, my grandparents had little models similiar to these, and i'd always used to lie on the floor and 'study' them lol
