I love all your work!! What is the medium you use? And for how long have you been painting, did you go to school or something?

man, i can't stop looking at your work! I am very impressed. you inspire me to get on my oils. Thanks for that bro. This one of your brother is very suggestive of "through the tough times" a tribute to loyalty.

wow, this is a really exceptional piece, it reminds me a lot of the artwork of Sophie Jodoin. Great work!

You capture details very well, love the drips. What medium did you use for this by the way?

very nice brushwork. you are obviously someone who is a natural painter. it seems angry.

I really love this piece, it seems so sincere, so subdued. It stands out well in your already strong gallery. When I do art of family members it all ways makes me try harder to do them justice.

You did an amazing job with the highlights and shadows... its amazing when someone can use the white of the canvas to make it truly look 3-dimensional (instead of using colors to represent depth)

Woa, that is so lovely...I've gotta admit, that seeing this makes me envious of ya, how your hands/eyes/mind can create something like this...

Ahh, he's melting! This technique really adds to the painting. Very nice in gray too. Adds more feeling to it because gray is usually a "depressed" feeling.

Excellent, it's quite brave to make it drippy like that but really adds to the mood. Did you add the drippy parts later or was it just a happy accident?

The painting is awesome, it shows true understanding of form. Personally I love the washes over the work, it makes the piece less rigid and constrained - it gives it an energy. Years ago when I first started with oil painting classes, my teacher had a huge portrait on her wall (about 3X4m) which had similar technique. It made the work very emotional. I think you should pursue your 'experimental' technique.

Very intresting. I really like the way at first glance, it almost looks messy. But then upon looking closer, it looks so well put together. Excellent work. D

excellent, reminds me of a painting I saw a few years ago of a massive child's head (about 2m x 2m) that was done with very watery paint. Perhaps you could emphasize the lightness of it a bit more, the wash almost look like it was done over the top of the face, rather than being part of the method...

Thanks. Yeah, you probably are talking about Cherry Hood's work. She's great. That's a good point, thanks for the comment I will keep that in mind next time.

I do so look forward to each of your submissions!
Love your shading and style, but some of the drips are so perfectly parallel that they look a bit like scratch marks?

Wow. That my friend is one hawt painting. Really nice. What exactly did you use, watercolors? I don't think I'd be able to put water on it to make it drip and such after I had finished it give it the runny paint effect. Heh.
