I just had to join in on the E3 excitement! I'm so hyped for Hyrule Warriors!!! And the new Zelda coming in 2015 looks amazing! Hopefully I can make a little something in celebration of that game's announcement too...
I decided to experiment with ink pens here. This is not a medium I use often. There are lots of mistakes but I learned a lot. I also tried out using only blue as a color and making this in a very graphic, manga or comic book like style.
(I ended up making this at like 1AM... xD )
EDIT 6/29/14 Touched up the image quality and contrast in Photoshop.
Media: Faber-Castell ink pens and blue Prismacolor pencil on paper.
