yes you're right! but in this universe, they use the terms interchangeably
some of the characters aren't born into the Clan and even choose to use terms picked up from elsewhere, like "Oh my God" instead of "Oh my StarClan"
plus it sounds a bit weird to be saying "what the dark forest is going on" x'D
