Turns out waiting does reveal the best things in life because it is Shadows of the Clans, not flans. Flans are a desert. Clans are groups of people (or cats apparently).

for my disappointment on mapleshades vengeance: 50%
i thought it was ok... but i wish it could be more interesting

It actually was disappointing in some way, i mean, the story was rushed because it's like it happens in 1 day. It doesn't really shows how many time passed since Mapleshade killed Raven, then Freckle and then Apple. I didn't understand well how she died? And like it doesn't really shows how many time passed, since after she kills Freckle, she stalks riverclan and see Appledusk with Reed, and Reed is pregnant. But the story is actually good and sad, it's actually good to finally know why Mapleshade is like that and how she went to the dark forest.Β
Anyways, you did a great job! My heart almost broke on this scene because it was like so sad. I love how you drew them, and the designs are perfect!

i had really high hopes for this story because mapleshade was one of my favourites, soΒ maybe that's why i was so disappointed. you're right; the story was really rushed and the pacing felt really bad. i also thought the development for mapleshade and basically all of the charactersΒ was so bs-ed; it was hard to feel any sympathy for anyone

Yeah, she's my favorite warrior, i mean, i wish they could have wrote a better book for her, like of Bluestar's Prophecy, something that shows more time and shows more the characters personalities. In the time on Mapleshade's Vengance is like ''Oh hey i'm in shadowclan, boom riverclan, oh hey is Appledusk, of hey appledusk i'm pregnant. Now i'm telling the whole clan. Now i'm having my kits. Now my kits are playing. Now my kits are playing in the river. Now Ravenwing is telling the whole clan the kits aren't from birchface. Now i'm being exiled. Now i'm crossing the river. Now my kits are drowning. Now they died. Now i'm being exiled from Riverclan and Appledusk left me. Now i'm at a kittypet's home. Now i'm going to make a revenge. Now Nettlepaw is telling me Freckle saw my kits dying and didn't do anything. Now i'm killing Ravenwing. Now i'm killing Frecklewish. Now i'm killing Appledusk. Now i'm dead'' , i mean, is they at least made a story that started since she was Maplekit or something, it would be way more interesting. And though, you cannot even make a rant on Frecklewish, Ravenwing, Oakstar, Darkstar, Reedshine, Nettlepaw or Rabbitfur because they don't even have like.....a character development???? But yeah, her story still pretty interesting and i'm happy that finally we know why she is in dark forest.Β

I feel really bad for them! I feel extremely bad for Mapleshade. She actually chose to go to the Dark Forest because she wanted revenge on Appledusk. Crookedstar was Appledusks great grand kit I think that's why Mapleshade did that to him.

Honestly, I don't get why she went to the Dark Forest. It wasn't her fault the kits were exiled and drowned.
But then again, something may have happened in mapleshade's vengance that was never mentioned other wise.

Some things did happen in Mapleshade's Vengeance that haven't been mention thus far in the series, so she did kind of earn her way there, but I also think that the leader who banished her and her kits deserved to go into the Dark Forest as well. Its in the Warrior Code that you have to protect all kits regardless of their clan(in other words their heritage), and sending such young kits into exile with their mother is the exact opposite of protecting them. At the very least the kits should've gotten to stay and be nursed by another queen while Mapleshade was banished.
