it was pretty anti-climatic. i thought mapleshade's descent to madness would've been more interesting, but the plot was very basic and weird. all the characters were weird too. idk, just felt kind of bland reading it.

Mapleshade should had killed all the cats who betrayed her, which included taking some lives from those leaders. I don't see why she had to go to the Dark Forest in the 'novella' sense. She didn't do anything wrong except kill Ravenwing and Appledusk (the Cell block tango fits her)...why did that result in the Dark Forest?
Then again, StarClan sucks so no wonder...
Oh, but I like how you did the kits. Patchkit and Petalkit look so cute.

I think Mapleshade was set up by StarClan...as a way to punish ThunderClan. Like how Brokenstar was meant to punish ShadowClan.
