Description
Updated version of the older version, here .I had to do this one inside, simply because it's too crappy outside to do it there
Anyway, this one was more difficult, because the upper torso is actually touching the lower... which was interesting. If I biffed it and it doesn't look real... well... I tried hard, so that's all that matters ^_^
So yeah... opinions on the comparison between the old and newer one?

Unfortunately, I haven't even heard of GIMP, and consequently have nooo idea how you'd go about this. But the process is pretty simple; take three photos (one of just the background, one of you in one position, one of you in another), match the images up, chop off whatever you want to chop off, blend them together. Viola! You're set.

Thanks! I am in the process of cutting of my head and putting it on the table...all three heads(alter egos, contrasting personalities, etc)!
...I have to have my cousin, a photographer to help, she is great at stuff like this...
and GIMP, it is (from my standpoint), almost exactly like photoshop...only FREE, how wrong could you go? It is just a little bit different, since Photoshop don't work with Linux....

It's probably the most fun I've ever had with photography and photoshop. Dismembering yourself is always entertaining.

Well, I haven't seen the other one yet, so I can't compare them. But I have to say, as a manipper I don't normally ask other manippers for their secrets, but I have to know -- HOW did you do this?!

I love these. Is there a chance you can make these while wearing shorts or being barefoot?

I was wearing shorts in the first version of this concept that I made (here ), and I'm sure I could do it while barefoot... there's really no difference in how I'd create it. I'd just be trying to catch a pair of shoeless, sockless, short-clad legs in the end result^_^

heh, that rocks! its really well done, very convincing. i'm in awe of your photoshopping skill. even all the shadows behind the jeans, the face and the hand you've done with care. a little problem (that would be really hard to fake) are the missing folds on the jeans where you're holding them. but it still looks darn realistic even without .
a little criticism about the composition i still have though, is that there's a bit too much free space on the bottom of the pic. you could try 16:9 to fix that (although i fear that may ruin its 'spontaneous' feel...).
cheers and keep on rocking!
