I can almost picture someone walking there and losing their balance when they see that big planet ahead of them Would be quite an overwhelming feeling!

Too sweet. You oughta think about having these printed.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Casperium In reply to Aeires [2004-11-28 02:38:53 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!!! printed huh? geee that would require re-rendering at a very large size...........hmmmmmmmmmmm will have to wait until after the holidays, but yeah i have often thought about getting some of these done up... I have poster size prints of some of my other artwork already,,, Zazzle does wonderful work...

wow, this is really good. i get a strange feeling looking at it though, i think its the smaller mountains at the bottom of the valley. they seem enormous and my brain cant get around the scale of the cliffs, they must be astronomical.

Generally superb textures, but I think this sand is too edgy... well, I don't know how to explain you what I mean
But besides that it's a very nice work

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Casperium In reply to utak3r [2004-11-23 19:02:58 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!!! and yes I know what you mean.... This was really meant to showcase the wetness on the Cliff walls, and the sand was merely cropped from another pic (of the same planet), to hide some bad results...lol...

Ah yeah, I got it But it should be a bit darker then

Ooh, I love those jaggies. I use them quite often. Are those sediment lines easy to make in mojoworld? I've been meaning to download the free version to compare it to Terragen.

Casperium In reply to acidround [2004-11-23 07:24:05 +0000 UTC]

Thanks!!!!! This was a premade textured world free for exploring, called Axus by Lewis Moorcroft,, you can find it at 3dcommune in the FREE stuff....... and you can use it in the FREE version of Mojo2 transporter..

Casperium In reply to Casperium [2004-11-29 18:45:16 +0000 UTC]

hmmmmmm I never knew about the watermark/copyright until recently, didnt realize it was that big..
But yeah it is hell on rendering, although you can do a quicker render it wont give you the final image look.. Although Normal rendering is pretty close to a final high grade render and is much faster.
I won Mojo2 several years ago, but just recently started playing with it again...
Of course a workaround for the logo would be to render extra large pic and crop off the logo,,, would be kewl for a panoramic view........

Tony5870 In reply to Casperium [2004-11-29 12:04:56 +0000 UTC]

While Transporter is pretty cool, it puts a huge graphic ad for MOJO on the pic you render with it in the bottom right corner, effectively ruining the image. It pissed me off considering how long it takes to render an image, and you can't see it until it is almost finished rendering.
