"Don't stress it, just trust your instincts!" Joiku softly instructed the mute youngster in the water, chasing the red salmon through the shallow water of the shore. She heard a few frustrated whines and huffs but the mute pup wouldn't say a word back to her. Joiku smiled at the sight of the young male chasing the fish across the shore with his tongue out, legs causing ripples and breaking the water's calm surface just after the fish's form gracefully glided through the water painted pink. Life was good, well, at least during this exact moment. Joiku had grown fond of her mute foster pup, and she could tell that Kuunlapsi liked her care too.

"Hey, there you go sweetie!" she noticed Kuunlapsi finally catch the fish he was chasing for so long. He was laying down in the water, his entire head moving to the rhythm of the flailing fish in his mouth. Smiling, Joiku walked to the shore from the dock she was sitting at, and approached her foster. "Looks like you got a big one, dear. We'll be eating good tonight at the ruins" she smiled and nodded towards home.
