!This was a fun project to work on. I haven't drawn a lot of children in my drawing career, and this was a nice challenge! I really like the way it came out
Not much to say actually. I'm celebrating my birthday at the moment. I got a whole bunch of A-MA-ZING coloured pencils!
Wait... I should get back to my visitors, lol!

How do you create such a wonderfully blended background like that? When I try, it never looks right, and always looks smudgy and blotchy. Do you use a tortillion or something?

It's kinda weird to me: my grandfather passed away a few weeks ago, and I wrote a poem for him. And the title of the poem is 'Surrounded'. So to me, this drawing is special.
By the way, it looks really awesome!

Oh my freaking gosh, this is insane! How do you do it? I could never shade like that (I always shade too light) and I'm terrible with hair; I usually do it strand by strand instead of shading so it always looks kind of flat. Any pointers?
