Several people were complaining about the small font. Leaving critiques and comments are more than welcome, but I just don't like it when people use my tutorials and at the same time nitpick about the smallest things and don't even leave a "thank you" note.
So for those who do appreciate the 30 hours I spent in writing and drawing this tutorial: I uploaded a larger file. You can click download for full size.

This is a MASSIVE tutorial I did in only 2 freakin' days! LOL.
I said I would do a gift for you all because someone hit the 60.000 pageviews. Besides, I got over 1550 watchers and my drawings of Vincent and House got over 1000 favourites.
Ooohh look at the pretty colors. My previous tutorials look quite boring compared to this baby.

Tortillions cannot be reused except for smudged areas.
However, blendingsticks can be used more often if you sharpen them with a pencil sharpener or sandpaper!!

I like the way you explained your technique. It should be useful for lots of people here.
The only one thing I might add is to your bit on tortiillions -- you don't have to buy them at art stores. (After all, they are really no more than really tightly rolled paper and it gets a bit expensive if you keep on buying them.) And, if they do start getting dirty, you can use an eraser or, if it is a tough commercial one, a bit of sandpaper can help clean 'em up.

great tut, you can reuse the tortillions by running them through a pencil sharpener or shaving off the end with a razor blade in the way you would sharpen a pencil manually with a razor blade

*big smile* I was expecting you to end up having to do one of these. So many people wandering how you do it after all. Personally, I think it is quite helpful to those who have no clue where to start really shading and blending. You did a very good job on this and I must fave it!!

OH!! They have these little sandpaper strips stapled on a small piece of wood to sand the used portions off of tortillions. They sell them at most art stores (at least they do here in the states). They're pretty handy, but you could make one yourself pretty easily

This has to be one of the most helpful tutorials on dA right now. A lot of the tutorials around teach you how to draw a certain way, but this one gives the reader useful technique instructions that can be applied to pretty much anything.
