Several people were complaining about the small font. Leaving critiques and comments are more than welcome, but I just don't like it when people use my tutorials and at the same time nitpick about the smallest things and don't even leave a "thank you" note.
So for those who do appreciate the 30 hours I spent in writing and drawing this tutorial: I uploaded a larger file. You can click download for full size.

This is a MASSIVE tutorial I did in only 2 freakin' days! LOL.
I said I would do a gift for you all because someone hit the 60.000 pageviews. Besides, I got over 1550 watchers and my drawings of Vincent and House got over 1000 favourites.
Ooohh look at the pretty colors. My previous tutorials look quite boring compared to this baby.

Tortillions cannot be reused except for smudged areas.
However, blendingsticks can be used more often if you sharpen them with a pencil sharpener or sandpaper!!

Like the tut! You can use a piece of fine sandpaper on the end of a tortillion to get rid of some of the graphite (if not all when done correctly) so that it can live to blend another day. It depends on you though, it's really easy to go to a discount art store like Jerry's Artarama, if you're close to one sadly i'm not.... and buy a 10 pack for a little more than a dollar. If you shop at a store like Michaels though, only 2 will cost you dearly. Lol, i seem to be rambling... Well, great job on the tutorial!

Shading was always my strong point, but it's about time someone came out with a tutorial.
I really benefited from your hair tutorial and have my first drawing using your technique on my front page. For some reason I'm better with the dark hair

A way to use your tortillons more than twice, you can use a stanley knife (obviously a sharp one rather than a more used blade) and just trim the used edges. That's what I do with mine, and it saves me going to the art store every time I want a new one because the nearest store is miles away

You speak about using the tortillions only twice... try to sharp thme with a cutter... i use to do it, and it work perfectly... ^.^
