If that background image is yours, then I don't think you should include the alex gray part... Love the image though! Are there more tiles being made then?

Oops, didn't read your second comment before I commented my second time. Fair enough! Alex grey does do some wonderful work. I'd love to see some art inspired by artists who are inspired by tool from you! (i.e. Alex grey, Cam Deleon, Chet Zhar...)

So you freehanded that alex grey image on top? If that's the case you did a great job. Looks just like his.
I was only saying that because I think it's almost too literal that way. It's kind of like just spelling it out for the audience. It kind of changes it from TooL inspired imagery, to TooL imagery. You know what I'm trying to say? I don't mean it as a negative comment. And I don't know the context of the piece at all, so perhaps that is what you're going after also. But that was my first thought on the piece.
I still love that image of the head, and even without the eye, I think it would still evoke thoughts of tool for me.

its for a tool quilt that a club i am in is putting together. I will probably end up making some more tiles to make up for those who didnt make theirs. Other than that.. I love being original.. and I love making an entire piece of art on my own.. but since this was for a tool club I figure that a lot of the members would like the picture more if it was a bit more simple.. HOO HAA!! Thanks for the comments!

oh.. didnt read that right. I think I should include the alex grey eye because I like it... and well.. thats about it.. I drew it from a picture of it.. I didnt just copy and paste. I also didnt really have time to create my own representation.. but I may in the future.
