It has some pagan aspects, like the pentagram (or pentacle, however you see it) and the crescent moon, a symbol of the Goddess.

well how about an alchemic description, although i think pagan people are awesome and friendly... im looking for alchemy.

I understand. Alchemy is really cool. It's the predecessor of modern day chemistry. Well, the five points represents the elements and the fifth one represents spirit. I'm sure the the elements play a part in alchemy in some way, but I'd have to do some in depth research.
