Influence Map Meme by [link]Along with my main influences, I have been influenced by Ero doujinshis. Maybe that's why I care so much about face expressions?
But aside from Rumiko sensei, I can't really pinpoint most of artist's names... so I say... "Google"?

What have you learned the most from reading Rumiko Takahashi's manga?Β

i think Ranma was one of my first comic books I've ever read, along with Dragon Ball. I loved to read DB but was not much interested in fighting-genre, rather, I loved romance-comedy genres like Takahashi's work, and others such as Midori no Hibi and Love-Hina. I think these genre influenced me through my own style, just like nowadays You'll find romance-comedy animes and manga with cute style, with lots of sex appeal hehe.
For Takahashi's own drawing style, I find it extremely difficult to imitate it. she uses a very short torso with long legs, so I could never understand her techniques, but I loved them, because this makes her work very unique.
