to the wrist, it would not allow him to extend the arm.

What program are you using? The image is a little small, so it's a little difficult for me to see smaller details of it. It looks pretty good, but the wing seems off. The membrane going across the top side of the wing would restrict his ability to fly given how his wing is shaped. You did well with having the wing flow into the shoulder like that.

I then scaned it in with uni's scanner. Then in paint shop pro 5 made another layer and went over the sketch with the pen tool . Then I filled it in with the fill tool. The baground is the noise tool.
