This was done live on YouTube here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=orkrrT…I used Corel Painter and Photoshop. I fused elements from both the comic designs and the animated movie designs.

Awesome stuff! Really love the movie! haha! You did a great job with the composition of this piece, and really backed it up with the details, both the subjects and the background! Congrats!!!
Here's some of my 2 cents to how this piece can be made even better! First off! the lighting is bit messy! i can't figure where is the main lighting is from. There seems to be multiple light sources! Since it's in a night sky, the strongest one should be from the moon! Back/rim light is probably from the city, but shouldnt be that strong since the city is far away! Over here it seems on par with the moon/main light! The lighting set up looks like a studio shoot so it doesn't really match the environment! I would also add a blue filter over as the ambient light isn't exactly white! Avoid using white light unless its a studio setting! or indoors! Usually at night both the main and ambient lighting should be of a cooler color. in the day the ambient light will usually be cool (sky light) but the sunlight will be warm. these will give a more realistic touch to the illustration!
For the city it looks very good on it's own already! Perhaps adding color variations to it will be cool too! like different lights and stuff, giving a nice varied bokeh effect!
Anw these are just my opinions! Main issue is the lighting! Other than that its a very lovely piece! Hope my feedback helps! Cheers and keep up the good work!

Hi!
Thanks for the crit! Admittedly, I'm only really good with line art, so your suggestions are much appreciated. I'll probably do an adjusted version with your advice and see how it goes.
Cheers!

Wow! Such a beautiful piece of artwork! I really love it!
The attention to detail is on of the things that really make this piece. I especially loved how you took into consideration the blimp/ air balloons that float in the movie. The city that never sleeps is in the background, and it looks fantastic!
Onto Hiro. Hiro's design - in this artwork - is a little different (showing a passage of time?), but I think it works in this! I can see the light reflections in the glass part of the mask. Again, loving the details in this!
For Baymax, I think it's about the same as Hiro's critique. Different costume, details, ect.
The shading on the costumes is amazing! You really know what you're doing with this!
Overall, a fantastic piece of art. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for the crit!
Yeah I aged them up a bit, and I used some elements from the original comic Baymax and mixed it in with the animated movie design.
Thanks so much for taking the time to write that out! I'm glad you liked it. I'll have the speedpaint up soon.
