okay, here's my attempt at drawing, inking, and coloring once again, in photoshop. i wish i had more time to make it look crisp, but it's for a contest that ends by the 15th, and i got so much other crap to do,lol.but, yeah check out for details on this contest. great original characters and great story. one of the most original main characters i've seen in quite a while. i hope they like my entry.

lol. i'm gettin' there, but not quite yet. i'm just a quick study when i'm dedicated and interested. i swear, i could not color this way a few months ago. lol. and yes, i still need people colorin' my stuff. this takes too damn long for my tastes, lol. besided, i'm trying to perfect my pencils and inks, not colors. and i can't focus 100% on all of 'em. tho i wish i could, lol.

lol. i couldn't tell u really with this one. i did another sketch of a female character in the comic's story too. not bad concept, u should definitely check the razor kid page out, if u haven't already.
truth be told, tho. i started this out in flash, actually. then i saved the jpeg and added to the original inks (on multiply of course) in photoshop. there, i added the highlights and darkened the darks. i made the background myself, with one of the other brush presets in photoshop and just scattered it around with screen and multiply. added a gradient behind it, and i was done the background. then i added the logo, which was in the razor kid's gallery. i added some layer effects too it, colored a little bit in the middle and... BAM! here we have it. my favorite part was the red light effect. i just made a circle with the markee tool, lessened the flow and opacity accordingly and added screen to it. after i did one, i just duplicated the others and altered the sizes as needed. surprised myself, really.

well def a good pic. i will chek his page out to see wats there. n i couldnt tell that u started it in flash. im bringing some of my old flash pics in paint shop and gonna work on them there. is y i put them up in the first place like the Maeyo pic. and yea i did like the background u had there. i have been workin on some new stuff that will b up shortly 2

thanx. it's not bad prizes either. 1st prize is 3 xtra months subscription, the 1st and 2nd issues of the comic, which isn't bad btw, and having this deviation be a possible cover for a razorkid side story. not bad. though, if it's going to be a cover, i'd rather get PAID. but i'll settle for the exposure. may lead to other things, u never kno

cool! they got an artist alley there? did not know that. i was just gonna go wit Sean Tate and the other guys i'm doin' the comic with to pass out some flyers and stuff, while also trying to enjoy the convention. but, it's a videogame convention, right? i thought it was just gonna focus on that, not art. if i'd a known, i would'a got my team a table and tried to sell some more of our books! lol.

I was given a head's up on the tables from a previous convention I went to (Zenkaikon out in King of Prussia). Some people that had a table there were told about a table space arrangement they had with the VGExpo, so I don't know how easily one could have gotten a table outside of that
But as far as I heard, the artist alley and dealer's room were going to be in the same room

Well, I hate to sell fan art pieces, but there were two video game fan art pieces I was going to make prints for to sell at the VGExpo (the Pikmin and Pokemon joke pieces). I bet some people would buy those over anything else
