couldn't help myself, had to take a break from all my prior artwork commitments and whip this out. i know reproductions of this image have been done to death, but i always wanted to see all these characters in movies just so i could put them in their movie suits, lol. so here they are, Black Widow, Capt. America, and Wolverine, back together for the first time! again! lol. i always loved the original Uncanny X-men cover by Jim Lee. he is my idol, after all. hopefully, i did the image a little bit of justice. tell me what you think guys! gotta get back to work. enjoy!
oh, and if anybody wants to ink this just note me. i'll send you a hi-res copy.

actually really want to. i've got tons of ideas for classic comic cover covers redone with the movie suits. already started a movie version of the first appearance of Punisher in Amazing Spider-man. when i get the time i'll definitely post more

this holds true to the original pretty well and still retins your style nicely. man i remember hunting down this issue as a kid. i got it a few months before Jim Lee's relaunch of the x-men. im pretty sure i still have it around somewhere

sorry for the lateness here. and thanks. i think Jim Lee revolutionized the X-men in way that no other comic book group as been. i just love his artwork on every level. this issue is one of my favs. if you got it, man, find it and put it in plastic, NOW. lol.

i would but its been well loved in its time ya know. jim lee is what made me start drawing comic stuff. i was just becoming a serious artist during the time that the Image guys all got on their marvel books. nothing influenced me more than that period of comics
